Aims and Scope

The Veterinary and Comparative Biomedical Research (VCBR) is an international, multidisciplinary, peer-reviewed, open-access journal that serves as a platform for publishing original research articlestopical reviewsshort communications, and clinical reports covering all aspects of veterinary medicine, zoonotic diseases, veterinary biomedical sciences, as well as comparative biomedical sciences. Interdisciplinary articles are particularly encouraged. Articles that emphasize novel information of excellent scientific and clinical quality, as well as importance relevant to veterinary and biomedical sciences, will be considered. It covers all scientific and technological subjects related to veterinary and biomedical sciences, including anatomy, histology, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, bacteriology, virology, immunology, parasitology, molecular biology, pathology, public health, epidemiology, food hygiene, infectious diseases, large and small animal internal medicine and reproduction, poultry science, fish and aquaculture, anesthesia and surgery, nutrition, welfare, alternative veterinary medicine, and other biomedical fields.

The Veterinary and Comparative Biomedical Research (VCBR) journal aims to provide a comprehensive platform for the dissemination of knowledge in the fields of veterinary medicine and biomedical sciences. Its specific objectives include:

  • Publishing Original Research: VCBR seeks to publish high-quality original research articles that contribute novel insights to veterinary and comparative biomedical sciences.
  • Encouraging Interdisciplinary Collaboration: The journal promotes interdisciplinary studies that bridge various aspects of veterinary medicine, zoonotic diseases, and comparative biomedical sciences, fostering collaboration among researchers from diverse fields.
  • Disseminating Clinical Reports and Reviews: VCBR aims to share clinical reports and topical reviews that address current challenges and advancements in veterinary practice and biomedical research.
  • Supporting Open Access: As an open-access journal, VCBR is committed to making research freely accessible to a global audience, thereby enhancing the visibility and impact of published work.
  • Fostering Scientific Excellence: The journal emphasizes the importance of scientific rigor and quality, ensuring that all submissions undergo a thorough peer-review process to maintain high standards.

By focusing on these aims, VCBR strives to advance knowledge and understanding in veterinary and biomedical sciences, ultimately benefiting animal health and public safety. It covers all the scientific and technological subjects of veterinary and biomedical sciences in general such as:
